Resumo:
Esta publicação tem por objetivo compartilhar a íntegra da transcrição de uma entrevista produzida com Oksana Boruszenko, ucraniana trazida pelos pais para o Brasil no final da II Guerra Mundial. Boruszenko graduou-se em História pela Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR - na década de 1960, logo após cursou doutorado em Munique, na Alemanha, pela Ludwig Maximilian Universität, retornou ao Brasil e, em seguida, lecionou na UFPR. A historiadora dedicou a maior parte das suas pesquisas à imigração ucraniana e integrou o grupo dos 30 sócios fundadores da Sociedade Brasileira de Pesquisa Histórica-SBPH. Ao longo da narrativa, a historiadora delineia sentidos entre as tramas das suas memórias sobre a vida na Ucrânia, a imigração e as suas escolhas profissionais.

Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to share the full transcript of an interview conducted with Oksana Boruszenko, a Ukrainian citizen brought to Brazil by her parents at the end of World War II. Boruszenko graduated in History from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) in the 1960s. Shortly after, she earned her Ph.D. from the Ludwig Maximilian Universität in Munich, Germany. Upon her return to Brazil, she taught at the UFPR, focusing most of her research as a historian on Ukrainian immigration. She also became one of the 30 founding members of the Sociedade Brasilera de Pesquisa Histórica (SBPH). Throughout her narratives, the historian seeks to make sense of the experiences of her memories about her life in Ukraine, immigration, and her professional choices.
